Our Story

Winchester Federal Savings and Loan Association was chartered in 1934 during the Great Depression to promote thrift and home ownership for everyone. We gave our first loan January 14, 1935 on a house that was built on Pendleton Street. The loan was for $1,200 with a payment of $12 per month. While costs have changed, our purpose has remained the same – people helping people.

With banks on almost every corner, you have many choices.

We are a strong community bank that has been in existence for over 80 years. Staffed with knowledgeable and experienced associates, we are family-owned with local decision makers. We are small enough to know you and your business, yet big enough to offer you the services, products and technology you demand. Our team is dedicated to our customers and has the desire to exceed their expectations. If this is the type of bank you are looking for, then your choice is easy. Come see what sets us apart.
